ABOUT US
Charity Nexus is a non-profit organization that specializes in creating meaningful connections between families of children with cancer and a robust network of charitable organizations geared toward helping families navigate a wide array of needs and challenges. Our mission is to leverage our partnerships to ensure that families receive the resources they need, when they need them, and for the right reasons. In support of that mission, our broader vision entails the creation of a supportive community where everyone has the connections they need when they need them most.
The inspiration to create our organization was born out of personal experience when our daughter Adalynn was diagnosed with leukemia on Thanksgiving Day in 2021. We struggled to find and connect with charities, which highlighted the need for an organization to assist families in the pediatric cancer community.
A survey of our family support group at the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh revealed that many families face similar challenges in identifying and connecting with charitable resources, confirming that families often lack sufficient assistance despite dedicating a significant amount of time and resources to the search.
With the needs of our community at the forefront, we have worked tirelessly to create an organization to serve our families and partners in the most meaningful way possible – by taking the pressure of building a support network off families and supporting our partners by helping them reach a larger audience.
